Promo shot for pagent contestant

This was one of my non headshot favs. Do you guys like?

it's ok, I generally don't like my subjects dead center The background is nice but a little distracting too.

They're both fine, I like the first one better, work on the crop and let's take another look?

I like the first but it does seem a bit dark. Maybe if you adjust levels a little bit?

That top she's wearing makes it look like she's trying to hide a beer gut or something...she's a fine-looking woman, but the top she's wearing...oh my, it just is not flattering in photos. It creates a line that goes straight down from her bust, and visually adds a big, solid "belly" on her...sorry, but somebody has to say it...for a pageant, the look she is sending out is...well...not good...not good...

I like the first photo's composition--the way she's placed in the middle of the intersecting lines in the concrete work. THe second shot, the bright, light background patch is very close to her face, and steals from her, as does that black thing in the background field. I actually prefer the first pose by a good margin.
