Hey guys, I would like to have your opinion on this shot. or

It's a Lancaster bomber plane located at the border of Province de Québec and New-Brunswick (Canada). It was shot with a D90 and 18-200mm VRII lens mid morning. Sun is 90 degrees on my right. It was shot with a CPL. PP wise, I simply sharpen a little bit, boost the color a bit and cloned cloned out a little tree line and a brown building that was behind the plane. No cropping was made.

Focal length : 31mm
Shutter speed : 1/100
Aperture : f8
ISO 100

I usually don't shoot much man made things, so I would appreciate a good critique to improve.
Thank you all:D

Focus is good, subject and composition good. I might have placed the nose a little bit higher and further to the right. As it is my eyes are drawn to the left most prop cone instead of the ship's nose.

Thanks Trever for your inputs. You are right, my attention was on the props heads and not on the plane's nose. I should had given a more important role to the plane itself and not only the props. I'll keep that one in mind for next time.

Thanks you!:D

They are a good contrasting combination: The Peace of the blue sky and the wary bomber; i feel it is a bit tightly framed/trimmed; a distant view from ground level looking slightly upwards with the whole plane in view is my feeling ;)

Regards :D

Thanks Frequency for your inputs. I regret framing it so tight. You are right, I wish I could go back to my RAW, but it's just the same in term of framing. Really, a slightly upward composition? I would loose the cockpit... Would be interesting to try. If only it wasn't 1000km away:confused:. I'll keep it in mind next time I'll go there

Thank you
