Pumpkin Patch c&C

Wife and I went to the Pumpkin Patch last weekend. It was the first time I got to try out my SB-600 for fill light. I thought this one turned out pretty good. Any thoughts?

I hadn't gotten to really read up on how to work much about the flash, so couldn't figure out how to turn on Auto FP mode, which resulted in the large DOF on these shots. I thought it worked out okay, but I would have liked to increase the aperture to a reasonable F/9-11 or so...at least now I know how to do that.

#2 Maybe a slight re-crop? I like it otherwise.

#1's a nice shot, not really seeing much that you could improve.. Might have been better to have her body angled toward the center of the frame - so framing her on the left might have been better. #2's nice with the crop.

I personally prefer the pic before the crop, the horizon position was more appealing. The sky is also nice looking and adds color that accentuates his clothing a bit.
