Question about shutter speed.

On my camera, Fuji Finepix s700, the speeds are 20,30,40,50,60,80,100,etc.

Would that mean like 1/20,1/30,1/40, etc?

if it's longer than that it is probably marked with a ' or "
which would be 1 second, 2 second, etc. I'm not sure if that camera goes that long...but you should be able to figure it out.

My Fuji S5700 is stated as the European version and the Ritz Camera version (in the US) equivelant of the S700.

I can shoot 4", 2", and 1.5" I think which is 4, 2, and 1.5 full seconds. Then I think it goes 1/2" (half a second) and maybe 1/4" (quarter second) before it starts into the 20, 40, etc.
