Question for Elements 9 users

Hello--I have a BRAND new computer. I just purchased Elements 9 and it runs SO slow on my computer that it makes me not even want to use it! Does anyone else have this problem? Do you have any clues as to WHY this is happening?? How discouraging :/ I bought a whole bundle of actions/textures and cannot even try them out PLEASE HELPPPPP!

Have you rebooted your computer? What are the spec's of the computer? May not have installed properly. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled it?

My Elements 9 is running fine on my computer.

I have an emachines I know not top of the line but its new and there is nothing downloaded on it accept for a few pictures and my Elements 9--So your saying I may need to uninstall my Elements and reinstall??

Yep and depending on how much money you spent on the emachines, I would take it back and get your money back and apply it towards a better computer like a HP.

Which emachines? Did you get a desktop or a laptop?

Your computer needs at least:

1.6GHz or faster processor
1GB of RAM (2GB for HD video functions)
3GB of available hard-disk space (additional free space required during installation)
Color monitor with 16-bit color video card
1024x576 display resolution at 96ppi or less

Since we're on the topic of Elements 9....

When I download files from my SD card they go directly onto the main Organizer page. Every photo I've downloaded to date is still on that main page. I have created different Albums and dragged the photos over appropriately, but they still all remain on the main Organizer page. Once I have moved them to albums, can I delete them from the Organizer page?

Thats minimum requirements. Do you have the machines model number.?

Don’t delete them, (they will be deleted) instead you can select the album you put them in and only the shots in that one will show. Upper left just below the menu bar does it say show all?
