Questions on the 1Ds Mk 1

Hello all.
I asked this question in another thread, but Ill try here.
Recenty my Maxxum 7D was stolen out of my truck. After dealing with the insurance, I wound up purchasing a Canon 1Ds Mk1. Obviously my experinace has proven the superiority of the 1Ds over the Maxxum 7d. (even though its 4 years older).

I have the following with it.
28-105 f3.5-5.6 Canon
70-200 f4.0 Canon L
Sigma 17-35mm EX
Sigma 50mm f 2.8
430 EXII flash.
8 Gb CF2 card.

Opinions, and reviews, helpful hints, and if anyone has a magic Lantern or similar book for the 1Ds Mk1 where do I get a copy???
