tinypic might make the rain looks a bit softer but when im viewing it in other programmes it's alot sharper, trust me. :P
anyway i'm quite proud of this
the out-of-focus part is a road btw, and i think you can guess the thing coming from above is rain/hailstone.

I'm glad you're proud of it. But me.... without the description you provided, I would have no clue what it is. My first guess was a severely chipped windshield with the (oof) dash behind it.

I'm with Sparky. What are we looking at? Rain on a street?

I think it needs something else in the frame to act as the subject, with the rain splattering off of it or something.

lol i'm only proud of it cos im kind of a newbie at this stuff:P
+it took me like 5 minutes of looking at it to see how you could've thought it was that lol!
and yeah, rain on a street.

This is an honest question and I'm not being snarky, but what was it about it that made you proud? Stopping the motion of the rain drops?

just that i got an image that i personally liked and i got the frame that i expected and was planning for. :P

+1

Having a more distinguishable subject (or something to accentuate the rain) would improve the photo to those who don't really have a connection to it as you do.

Heh...you should of put in a miniature bench or something :p

Aside from that though, it is a nice job capturing the rain. Rain-shots can be extremely attractive.
