Hi! I'm new to the forum, and semi-new to photography. I've never taken any formal courses on photography, and the only feedback I get is from friends and loved ones (so extremely biased, haha). Please let me know what you think of these few shots. Thank you!

It's good to number your images, makes giving C&C a bit easier ^-^

#3 ( kid eating cookie) is the worst of the set - the on-camera flash really kills it for me, on top of the fact that it is very snapshot-ish.

#5 (kid behind fence) is my favourite, though I would say it is a little underexposed.

I also find #2 to be quite an emotive photo, though I think the framing is a little off (cut off too much of the hand/head while at the same time showing too much chair/back)

I say number 4 is the best of the bunch, only issue being the coloration being off. The skin tones are off, especially on his face/arm.

Also the brown leaf in the grass just kind of messes things up, but that's just my opinion. Try content-aware filling over it, see how it looks.

Personally, I think that photo makes no sense. Usually I would expect to see a happy child lying in the grass, not a terrified looking one. I want to know what he's so scared of...

I thought the expression was more of a "Oh look, a butterfly!" =p
but I see what you mean ^-^
