Raptor #1 has landed...

In an earlier post I shared some photos of the USAF Museum and the Raptor ceremony.

The foolowing was taken when the plane came in for landing...

...and just in case anything happened this plane was pretty well protected...

...all photos are my property and nothing classified was photographed.

F-18s are very nice planes... You should try to make it to an air showe one day. Some opportunites for amazing shots

That's not the F/A 18, that's the 1st Raptor F22 production version.

In all my sorting and scanning today I've gotten some crossed.

Now I've got to find my @#%%#$ Raptor pics again.

Judging by the cammo scheme that F/A-18 is from an aggressor squadron.

The pair you see the belly of are either A or C model F-16 "Falcons"...one of the first all fly-by-wire aircraft, maybe THE first, its been a while since I kept up with it.

Not sure about the F/A-18 "Hornet" theres so many version now, I think they are up to E or F, the so called "Super Hornet"

The helicopters are most certainly UH-60 Blackhawks look like the generic version not the special ops version, theres no winglets or refueling probe. Good shots overall.

F-16's are very photogenic in my opinion, they just look fast.

Try to catch a B-1B Lancer, best looking aircraft in the inventory; well, aside from an A-10...hehehe
