Reasonable price for Rebel XT and EF-S 17-55 mm f/2.8 lens?

I know someone who is looking to sell a Rebel XT camera and Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM zoom lens, including manuals, cables, and two batteries. The lens is around 2 years old and the camera around 3 or 4. They are both apparently in good working order, taken care of excellently.
