Red, Moon and some white...which one?

I was playing with this pic...of the Nurse Homestead, of the Salem Witch Trials fame..does it work?

Your moon is way too big!

Maybe try re-sizing it in PS?

I agree about the moon.
Also, maybe it's on a hill, but there is a very noticeable tilt in the landscape It's even more obvious in #2 because of the framing of the card.

As for the cards, I prefer #1 :thumbup:

i agree with plastic and wood, the moon is really big, maybe lowering it a bit would help, you know, how the moon always appears bigger the closer it is to the horizon... it's a great winter scene though...

Very nice. Hmm.. from reading The Crucible last year, I think I would liek the one with the big moon better if the overall picture was 'darker' in a sense, so I will choose the one with the smaller moon as being the better. But as I said.. an excellent Christmas themed picture!

Just a question but are both images taken by yourself? As most here will know the moon isn't a particularly easy subject to photograph ;-)

Yes, both are mine...not easy...I only have a couple which I re-size as needed.
