Nice shot, the crop is a little tight for me - assuming you cropped it(?). If this is a crop, I would have given the subject a little more space on the right side - sort of a "rule of thirds" placement on the left side of the image.

Pretty bird. Would have been nicer if you increased the exposure by 1/3 of a stop to bring out some detail in those very dark feathers.

It's name is a bit of a misnomer really. Since Blackbirds are of the Thrush family and this one is clearly a finch. So there.

Nice picture, but just misses the mark as a solid composition. As Western Guy alluded to, you cropped it way too close as there is no real composition other then just the bird. It's the kind of picture one sees in a bird magazine or book.

Nice shot.. but a bit tight! I was shooting some of these guys yesterday.... they are beautiful birds!
