Another back alley speakeasy all but hidden in what remains of the city's historic industrial zone near Lake Ontario.
Once home to Massey Ferguson's old plant and the De Havilland factory that built plywood Mosquito bombers during WW II. Much of it demolished but those huge brick boxes that survived later became warrens of condos.

Is this an active speakeasy? Or a historical used to be speakeasy?

Active as of late November. You'll note no exterior door handle and the cameras. Usually an inner door, too. The pandemic permanently closed many scattered throughout old downtown commercial areas. Have posted shots of entrances here. Some streetfront locations are camouflaged by old business signs. A favorite dive, "The Communist's Daughter," hides behind signage for a long-vanished Portuguese snack/sports bar. It's fun being an insider!
