Earlier I added a b/w version of this subject (not same photo) in the visual echo thread, but the color is hard for me to ignore. I don't know, I've been out of photography for a long time and kind of dipping my toe back in. In a month I'll probably hate this, but today I kinda like it.

Bent, I missed your reappearance.
I can see why you are attracted to this image ... it reminds me of something I would have taken in my early days.

Hey how ya been? I've been lurking around a bit here trying to get a feel for things again. Today is the first time I've picked my camera up for anything other than a family get together in at least three years. To say my eye is as rusty as that screen in the pic is an understatement. But it'll come back eventually.

Thanks Derrel, good to see you. If the photography bug gets a solid bite in me again I'll be asking lots of questions about new gear. Still shooting with a T1i. If I start shooting again I think I'm due for an upgrade.
