Remote Shutter Release other than 10 Pin

I’m looking for a remote shutter release for my D700 that communicates using something other than the 10 Pin.

My 10 Pin is currently being used by a GPS unit and although I could remove it for those times I use the shutter release the GPS was a pain to screw on a seat. I’d rather avoid removing the GPS unit if possible.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I don’t think it works with the D700. I believe it’s one of the few cameras that it doesn’t play with.

Yeah, it looks like they hit all around the D700. I can't think of anything else but tethered to a computer through the USB.
