Sometimes it will take a little while for people to comment, the galleries move at a slower pace than the Beginner's forum (for example).

Your first shot is interesting, I like the lines of the image. The only thing that bothers me visually is the sign on the lower right side, which disturbs the pattern. Oh and it could be my monitor, but I think the sidewalk on the left side is too bright.
