i wouldnt say failed by any means. I really like the women incorporated into the right of the shot. I'm not sure i care for her face in the top left hand of the image nor for the bbq ish thing in the middle.
I think its pretty darn cool

i wouldn't say fail either, it's a very well put together montage. just keep playing with it. try bringing the woman out on the right hand side and lower the opacity on the record player and see how that works.
