These are from Kaziranga National Park in the state of Assam in India. Visited the park on elephant-back. The rhinos did not mind our presence at all, they just kept eating grass, so we were able to get quite close.

Beautiful shots, rhino shots are always difficult.. Second one is great! When did you visit India?

Thank you! I just got home from India about a month ago. My second trip there. I like it there :)

Like them all but #3 stands out in particular. Great shot

Lol.. It's funny because you've already seen more of India than I have. Let me know if you need any help next time you visit. :)

Aren't they just huge and what beauties they are. Fine shots and what a trip it must have been. Close shots as well, very, very nice to see thanks. No wonder we love nature Steve.

All the best and magnificent shots.

Danny.

I'm sorry, but the plural of rhinoceros is: rhinoceroses. Get it right or you'll be sleeping with the fish*.

awesome pics though :)

* There will only be one fish in this particular pond.

Wow-- hard to pick out which one is the best. #2 looks like it's keeping its eye on you.
