I agree with Sean.
You have the sky, building lights and car lights are challenging each other for proper exposure. The sky looks like it wants to be more pinkish in the background.
If you went the car trails route you could properly expose the sky and buildings and get neat car trails (and not get the overexposed headlights blobs).
You'd might have to use GND/NDs though and some PS magic.

Appreciate the tips. Will have to keep that in mind for next time. But would you say any of these are worthy for publishing as-is, or no?

I would say your best one is the first one, the only thing I would do is edit that little tree out in the top left.

Alrighty, I'll do it then. What about the other one - Is the tree in the foreground distracting?

I think the reason the first one stands out the most, is the big tree to the right, theres actually some light on it. So its not just a big blob.

Also, to me, the street looks longer. So it grabs my attention and pulls it into the city and then the skyline. Very good leading line.


But yes, since the tree is so dark, I find it distracting.
