Me and a couple of friends tried our hand at wire wool photography the other night, it was great fun,we decided to organise a night taking some experimental photographs. Lighting the wire wool was tedious at times but once it got going the results are amazing, it only burns for around 20 - 30 seconds so you have room to play around with your camera settings to get the desired result. Wire wool photography is the product of combining; a couple of whisks, a climbing cable, matches, LED torches, the dead of night and of course steel wire wool. It's a long exposure style of light painting, where light painting uses LED lights and torches, this uses wire wool which has been set on fire.

I'm going to attempt to do some more elaborate wire wool photography, so any C&C is welcome.

That would be a great idea, might have to brave the sparks to draw it with a LED torch, but it could look cool.
