Rock Pile in Yosemite

This is a shot of pile of rocks I found in Yosemite. Shot with a D90 +- 2. processed in Nik HDR EFEX PRO


I was going for a natural look and really liked how this one turned out.

I like what you have here, but I feel like Im looking at it through sunglasses. Maybe a bit of a boost in contrast would help. Making an HDR creates a flat image with details added to both the highlights and shadow areas resulting in a flat looking image. To correct for this its necessary to pinch the image a bit so it becomes crisp and sharp to the eye. Your sky also suffers from too much magenta in it resulting in an unrealistic color as well as halos.
