First, welcome to TPF.
This is a picture of art done by someone else.
To make your picture successful you need to add something of your own - framing and composing so that you show the viewer something you see.
The left end of the picture doesn't add anything.
The brightest part of the picture, that draws the viewer's eye, is his elbow.
His head is right at the top of the frame.

You should read a bit about composition; that will help your future work.
