Good composition.....

Suggestion: try cropping one step below the monument. The shadows tend to give the shot an un-level feeling.

Shame I can't make out the relief.

thanks for the comment....the perception is caused by the uneveness of the paving and for me that is part of the image, in that the tree roots have caused the damage to the historical monument....hence the title. The inscription says OVI CONSACRO LA ARMAIA
