The Rose of Sharon looks very, VERY similar to a hibiscus. I'm going with Rose of Sharon here--but then, I'm kinda partial to it, since my grandmother named me after it (yes, my GRANDmother named me, not my parents--they'd had four other kids already; I guess they were tired of thinking up names, lol)

That's a hibiscus -- the stamen is uniquely hibiscus.
