To Frequency, I find the subject and background facinating and I am glad you shared it with us. I do, however, think that you went a bit overboard on the contrast and the saturation.

In my monitor i see the second version as a gray toned alteration(muffled colors); if you see it right, then my monitor should undergo a color standardization, i think

Seems a little too contrasty to me, and I'd like to see more shadow detail in places and there is no definition between the last woman's head and the background. The image should be in color, but I am not sure about the beyond velvia extreme.

Frequency.. I have told you like gazzillion times and most people agree. Not sure why you never listened. Your photos should look decent straight out of the camera and only need a little boost.

Sometimes it is just not possible to get blue sky. Dont force it.

The 2nd is much better. The colors look more natural and still stand out. It still looks soft to me though. What equipment and settings? Looks like that shutter speed was a little low. The people seem to be a little underexposed as well. I am guessing evaluative metering was used and the foreground and background are both bright so caused the underexposure of the people. I say underexposed because there doesn't seem to be any detail at all in the blacks and the hair just appears as one black object.

I apologize for the previous comment I made as well, it was useless in providing helpful feedback.

No need to apologize, since you did not mean any hurt....i think metering was matrix; camera, canon 400D. Aperture:4.97 f/5.6 ISO 200 ...focusing manual
