Sadako Sasaki Monument

What does the monument depict..?
Ah there is a description in the Flickr post, will paste here for interest :-

"The Children's Peace Monument at ground zero, Hiroshima.
Sadako was 2 years old when the bomb detonated and was severely irradiated, she managed to survive for ten years.

During this time she folded over 1,000 origami cranes before she died in 1955.

Here she sits atop the monument holding one of her cranes.

In the booths below hang long strings of folded origami brought here by the school children who visit.

School visits are popular here, educating the next generation about the horrors of war."

What it really depicts is Man's cruelty too Man. However on a less serious note, it's a well captured shot.
