Safelight for Darkrooms

I have a pinhole camera and i want to know if i can get this safelight and go into a dark closet, with absolutley no light entering, to see the pictures i took on the film. I also want to know if i can take the film out of the canister and cut it to fit inside the pinhole camera.

You won't see anything on film unless you develop it first, and a safelight will fog most film--safelights are typically only "safe" for black and white paper, which is insensitive to red light.
