Shooting sky is tough, you have to find elements that will work with the sky. The branches on the left doesn't do the job well.

Personally, I like the branches in the image.....it lends credence to a frame of reference, and acts as an anchor to the image....very well done.....

I'm not really bothered too much by the branches on the right because it does add a kind of sense of dimension to the shot. If it were just the sky alone it would be a bit boring I think. I've always liked that verse too. Red sky at morning, sailor's take warning, red sky at night, sailor's delight.
