I see the merits, but personally I will really be glad when the marshmallow water fad ends. Waterfalls do not resemble the output of fire hydrants! ;(

This is the first time I've done it like this. Typically I agree. It's not how we see it.

We don't always have to capture reality. I saw a beach shot today that was really enhanced by some movement of water on the sand. And somewhere between candyfloss and frozen movement is arguably better than extremes?
