Thank you! Well the set up was somewhat easy, all I used were two speed lights set at 1/32 power, a black foam board for a backdrop, one of those $10 portable speaker, and a 50mm lens with extension tube to get the macro shot. I added food coloring to the salt and mixed it really well then on put a pinch or so on top of the speaker (which was covered with plastic so the actual speaker didn't get filled with salt) then put heavy bass music, i used dubstep. The last step was the tricky part since I did this alone, and that was timing it to where you turn the music on and take 2-3 shots of the salt bouncing. I hope this somewhat gives you an idea of how I did it and I also put a picture of my set up.
