#1) Samuel Beckett Bridge (Irish: Droichead Samuel Beckett) is a cable-stayed bridge in Dublin[2] that joins Sir John Rogerson's Quay on the south side of the River Liffey to Guild Street and North Wall Quay in the Docklands area.

#2) Again Samuel Beckett Bridge. You can clearly see the Guinness pipeline going across to supply local Dublin pups with freshly brewed Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness.
"Apologies forum I already posted this one a few days ago"

#3) Again the Samuel Beckett Bridge, trying out some settings.

Pretty cool looking bridge, looks like something right out of a Batman movie ;)
I like the 3rd one the best, I like the way the shadows are reflected on the water.

Just to highlight the different styles, do you have a problem with that Homeless?

I like the first one the most, because the bridge is closer and the stormy skies really add to the dark feel of the photo. But I'm also intrigued by the interesting building in the background with what looks like a large slanted glass "barrel." What is that building?

Very nice, bridge and pictures... the style makes me suppose it's another nice work of Santiago Calatrava. By the way, he is both architect and engineer.

I also like the first one best, even though I'd really prefer it 'brighter' - like the last one. I think it shows the bridge to the best effect, and also highlights the strange-looking building at the same time. It's one of those pictures that really leaves you wanting to know more.

The glass “barrel” building behind the bridge is the Dublin Convention Centre designed by Kevin Roche who is one of Ireland's most acclaimed international architects.

The bridge is designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, like Enzodm already stated a designer of a number of innovative bridges and buildings. This is the second bridge in the area designed by Calatrava, the first being the James Joyce Bridge, which is further upstream. (Will take a shot and post it )

Photo number #3 is a pano, 8 portrait hand shots canon 70-200mm stitched together in PS. The level of detail zoomed in is amazing in the original saved as a layered .TIFF over 600MB

Thanks forum for your C&C, grtx Rain.

PS.
Just to highlight, I am a novice in photography but a guru in Photoshop, Illustrator and 3Dmax maybe that’s why some think I am in the wrong category “Photography Beginners” I work as a graphic designer 2D & 3D was always looking for highres photos to illustrate brochures or as reverence for 3D projects and so on, now I am trying to shoot my own material and feedback is really important. I am not really concerned about the technical stuff in photos but more does it suite the style of the project.

Aagin thanks for your time...

I like them all but I'd say #2 is my least favorite. Are these HRD shots or did you just heavily edit them in PS? Another question - was the bridge intentionally designed to mimic the Guinness harp logo? It's an awesome bridge. My wife and I are planning a vacation to Ireland next summer if the finances work out. I'll have to check it out.

I just do post in Photoshop, and to answer your second question no it not designed around the Guinness harp it the official Irish trade mark :)
