Cool story bro. I am willing to bet it works on a tripod, and not much else. The 'camera shake' looked like it was added in post.

What's really interesting is that ~:37 into the video, there's a shot where some of the subjects are already frozen... and then suddenly the rest of them freeze. Kind of odd... Almost like it was edited incorrectly.
