scopes for the moon!

hey guys, i was on the themes forum, lookin at the moon thread, and alot of the photos are extremely sharp and the moons in them are huge! i know alot them wer using telescopes but i was wandering what types? where could i get one from and roughly how expensive sre they? also, would a 75mm to 300mm zoom be good enough for a good sharp image? thanks guys!
