Another reason I like brick n mortar camera stores: They have 'junk' bins! Stopped by and did a little digging around and scored this nice little set-up:

Cokin P filter holder with 58 and 77mm adapters, cover, and two grad ND filters.... one brand spankin' new!

And if you can't read the prices on the filter cases, they were $1.99.

And to sweeten the deal, 'cuz I bought a bunch of other goodies, they threw in the filter holder for free since it wasn't marked with a price. So I got the whole kit for $4.26 with the Guv'ner's Fingers included.

I get to do my happy dance!

Score, indeed. Yeah...filters are now being sold in junk bins at many locations. They have almost become the old "auxillary TV rabbit ears sets" of the 2010's!!!! People know what they are, and know what they DO, but....they just do not want to actually BUY them!

THose grads still have plenty of use left in 'em! Good score, sparky. Rotanimod made a very nice photo earlier this month using one of those awful Cokin graduated filters!!!

Cool! But...what's a Guv'ner's Fingers?

I gotta get down into my basement--somewhere down there I've got a box with all my old Cokin filters, holder and adapters. I don't even remember what I had, and I keep wondering if there's any chance I've got an ND or something cool like that down there.
