Thanks.Nah you got the 70-200 2.8 should work well with a converter when you need the reach.The kenko TC are reasonable price wise the nikon TC prices are a hosing.

Thanks.Yea really liking this glass sharp at all apertures and focuses quickly.I thought I would miss the OS of the sigma 150-600 to this none VR Nikon but I don't and in fact I never thought the OS was all that great on the Sigma. The reach was nice but sometimes it would just stall and not focus at all or hunt for ever and other times it just focused slowly especially in cold weather seemed to really be more troublesome. I am going to pickup a Kenko 1.4 TC see how it works.

Actually I just picked up a Nikon TC-20E III for a little over $200 on an ebay auction so thought I'd give it a try. Should be here sometime next week. The sigma 1.4x I have does a pretty good job, but the sigma 2x I've got has always been flaky on every lens I've had, so thought I'd give the TC-20 a try.

Thats a good price I was seeing some nikons 400 and 500 hundred price range new of course but still that's nuts.

Agreed. Way too much for a teleconverter when from what I read the kenko is almost as good optically and only runs $160 or so new. I got lucky finding a used nikkor or I would have gone kenko
