A bright shiny exterior sometimes hides the bad from view. A little play time with an LED flashlight, stacking images, and light and shadow.

I like the grainy appearance, it gives it that old timey feel and how the vividness makes it standout in the dark but yet it's image in the mirror is somewhat muted, isn't quite as sharp and pronounced. I also like how the mirror is cocked at an angle instead of straight forward. It looks more natural, less prepared that way, imho.

One the biggest challenges in a still life is making something "prepared" look like it's not. Getting the mirror in the right position was a struggle, that took several attempts.
