Hey there everyone! This is my first post here, hopefully nowhere near my last. Any who, I've been getting into photography (finally) for the past few months and have been interested in water drop refraction photos. I've seen many where the drops, which were hand placed, are extremely large and round. I don't mean like a mound, I've seen ones as though it was a marble sitting on a leaf. Anyone have any idea how to achieve that? I've experimented with plain water, water and sugar, and water and glycerin...so far no true luck. Though some interesting photos did come from it.

P.S. I am trying to upload sample images I’ve gotten from this but it won’t let me...hang in there! I shall figure this out ;).

While you're working out how to post the images you've shot, post a link (or more) to some of the images with the kinds of big drops you'd like to emulate (links only on photos that are not yours please, per forum rules).
