Shadows on my prints

I have a 1 yr old Lumix /Panasonic DMC ZS5 and am getting spots/shadows on my prints. I see it when I preview too. At first there was just one, always in the same spot, about the size of a pencil eraser and now there are more. Does this mean I need to take it in to be cleaned or something?

dunno the camera but if it's a DSLR then it's probably sensor dust, and the dots are probably not just on your prints.

Get it cleaned and be more careful when switching lenses.

It is not a DSLR-it's just a compact digital, no lenses to change.

I usually have them printed at Shutterfly. But when I preview the pics on my camera I see the shadows too.

Yeah, it will be much easier if we can SEE the problem.

I uploaded it but can't seem to figure out how to drag it, like it says I need to do, into the box. But I got on another forum and was able to do it and was told it was grunge on the sensor.
How much is cleaning? And how does that happen with a point and shoot where you aren't even changing lenses?

Could be oil from the factory.

I'm not sure if it even can be cleaned... On a DSLR, it's not very complicated, but on a P&S, I don't know how you would even gain access to the sensor.
