Sure a big smoke machine with a 10 foot pvc pipe with holes. Smoke released till it was three feet high. Fans on the ceiling pulling up and infront of the location about 20 feet. I had time to shoot till it covered her face then stopped and let it disappear some by turning on the rain in the booth but it still hung around a bit

Again interesting. I've played with a smoke machine in studio, pretty much went where it wanted to go. The exception was when I used a chill box to cool it first, but then it stayed low to the floor. Never tried wet shots in studio. Great concept and execution.

I have used dry ice and smoke combined but this long pipe helps the smoke to come up and slowly rise not pump up from being blown out of the machine. Being longer and bigger the smoke has no velocity. It is the long tube with the holes drilled onto it that made this possible and we use the rain booth to help push it down too.
