Bump for the day crowd.
Anyone?

i like the warm light in the images and the composition in the first one, and also the boken is nice!

And i prefer 6 over 5 coz i see the second plant in 5 as a distraction

well done!

#1 and 2 - I think would look better if taken from a lower angle, like maybe a foot or so above the ground. Same with #3, except a little higher than ground level (but still lower than where you are). #4, beautiful flowers and the bokeh is really nice. I really like both #5 & 6. I think they are both gorgeous!

5 and 6 are really beautiful. 1 and 2 are too busy. Perhaps if you tried the above suggested and get closer to the ground. You might get some shells in more detail than others that will help give the picture a focal point. I feel like there is too much to look at without anything seeming important.

EXACTLY how RedWylder explained it! I think if you were to get down low and focus on one or a few shells/rocks with a wider aperture, it would work out much better!

I was also going to suggest getting a lower perspective on the first three.

I've come to realize that photography is all about getting cold, wet and dirty. I never wear nice clothes to shoots, yesterday I showed up in snow pants and huge rubber boots. I looked ridiculous but it was nice when I was waist deep in snow trying to get a good shot!

The first four don't do anything for me.....but #5 is beautiful! I love how the flower on the left looks like a butterfly. Love the light behind the flower on the right. BEAUTIFUL photo!

Really love number 5. the flower on the left almost looks like a butterfly on initial glance

Yeah. Imagine my surprise when my first digital photography accessory purchase was knee pads.

Thanks all,

I knew there was something "not right" about the beach shots, and now I understand. I'll try it differently the next time I'm by a beach. I was aiming for a triptique (sp?) showing - "Shells from close to far, or far too close".
Thanks for all the nice comments on 5 and 6. That is why I named 5 - "Sun through the flowers with butterfly". Knee pads? Sounds like a great idea.
