I think you had a good concept, but it's poorly executed. I think a brighter exposure is needed, the skateboard should be in focus and there should be less vertical open space between the 2 in the image.
I like where you're going with this, but I agree with the exposure comments. Also I would lower the angle of the shot, and I actually like the board being out of focus.
I hate to always be a rebel, but the underexposure is actually OK here...I think if it was brighter, the overall tone of the shot would be pretty cold. I like how it feels "warm" from the exposure level. In respect to composition, i would have added some space at the bottom in order to compensate for the wide gap between the two subjects
