Should I buy this?

Probably not the right forum to post this in, sorry =/

but I found this set on Amazon, and thought it might be a wise investment for my Canon Powershot S5 IS,
I don't have a lot of money, lucky to even have the camera I do,
so would a decent set like this be worth buying?

long answer: its a waste of money. no

it would be a wiser investment to get a dslr

Don't think my mom would be too happy =/ haha,
it's more of a gift from her.


really though I'll be buying myself a Canon Rebel T2i here in the next few months, if I can afford it.
I wish best buy still carried the package deal, that came with an extra lens or two.

my only advice is to buy quality products. dont buy junk because a) it will break, b) you will replace it, c) you wont be able to sell it.

where would be the best place to get the t2i?
I'd like to get it in a package deal like bestbuy had, but not sure if anywhere is offering it like that.
I've checked the major electronic stores around here, but nothing aside from the camera itself, and additional lenses on the side.

look for used stuff. you can generally get great stuff for good discounts
