I'm learning how to shoot photos by doing everything manually.
For this photo I wanted to have a lot of bokeh to spice up a simple composition but to keep the camera sharp at the same time.
The final shot was 50mm, manual focus, 1/50 f2,2 with one stop underexposed.
I also shot the background of the screen manually. Yep, that's a self portrait
I kept that a little too dark on purpose so it wouldn't be too overexposed in the final shot since the screen works as a lamp.
All the Photoshop work I did was removing dust and putting in a slight bit of contrast.
