Sigma 10-20mm F4.5-5.6 EX DC HSM

I'm after opinions and ideas on the lens i'm looking at:

Sigma 10-20mm F4.5-5.6 EX DC HSM

Basically i'd like to know if it would work with an EOS 350D because i'm after a wide-angle lens that can create a Fisheye effect because I can't justify the $1200 price tag for a dedicated Fisheye lens. :???:

If you want a fisheye "effect", you can easily do it in photoshop with the pano tools plugin.

The Sigma is a very good lens. It is a little soft on the edges at 10mm. I don't think that you would go wrong on this one at the price.
