Yeah ! Got my new lens last Friday !

First Macro lens for me. A whole new realm of possibilities has been opened !

First subject, my daughter of course. Not even close to 1:1, as you can see in the Original file (link goes to my Smugmug account), I had to stay away from her fingers. Still quite a bit of details !

Nice! The Sigma 105 has long been one of the better 3rd party macro lenses made. I see you have the NEW "OS" model. Cool!

Yeah I need the OS with my shaky hands !

The geared down focus ring is strange to use. Basically use the AF to get near the subject and then do the final adjustment with the ring.

Where going to the hills for the color this weekend. Should get some good pictures.
