Sigma 150-600 Sport on D810 Autofocus Calibration on Dock

Has anyone used the Sigma USB Dock to successfully calibrate autofocus on this lens? I know it will be a tedious process, but I am wondering about the distance from target to use for each zoom range in the software. I know in practical use, sometimes the subject might be 50 yards or more away from the camera, but this is not practical for calibration. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
