Sigma 24-35mm 2.0 vs Sigma 35mm 1.4

Hello all! I own a Sigma Art 35mm 1.4 and LOVE IT. It's an amazing lens and beautiful! When I find myself needing a wider angel when doing in home portraits I switch to my canon 24-70mm 2.8 ii. 2.8 is great but it's not 1.4 or 2.0.

What I want is a wide angel (24mm) and lower than 2.8. If I get this Sigma 24-35 f2.0 lens would I have to get rid of my 35mm 1.4? I would like to buy this lens within a week and would appreciate any input of experiences with this lens. Thank you!

Why would you have to get rid of the 35mm? If you need to sell it to get money for a new lens, my suggestion is to keep the 35mm, and delay the purchase of an additional lens until you have the money.

Selling a used lens will not yield much more than half the price you originally paid for it, so consider it more of a money-losing proposition.
