Hello all,

I recently bought the Sigma 24-35 F2.0 Art, but am considering exchanging it for a Sigma 35mm F1.4 Art. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are regarding the performance for both for landscapes and portrait photography.

One thing I noticed on the Sigma product page was that the Sigma 24-35 F2.0 Art is considered a wide-angle lens while the Sigma 35mm F1.4 Art is a standard lens. What are the implications and/or creative uses for this and most importantly, would it be redundant to own both?

Thank you all.

I don't think the stop of light you'll gain from the swap is worth it. While the 24-35 isn't super flexible, it's a well liked lens that is supposed to be as good as a lot of primes. It's sort of like swapping two primes for one, unless it's physical size is an obstacle for you
