Slightly Surreal Beach Scene

Last Sunday was a very windy day at the beach near Charleston, South Carolina. Sand was blowing along the beach in a steady stream. Most people stayed on the pier, above the blowing sand, except for these two guys.

Shot looking down from the pier with my trusty FG, Tokina 35-105 zoom, and red filter. Kodak BW400CN.

I think the photo has a somewhat surreal quality, like these guys are relaxing on a nebula somewhere in outer space...

Sorry about the dust. I need to give the neg a good cleaning and rescan it.
