Slow Growth

I thought this was an interesting rock sitting next to the ocean with all the different types of growth on it. I wondered how long it took to get that way.

Thanks, Jeff. I realize it wasn't the best lens for a shot like that, I should lug my Sigma 105 or nifty fifty around.

I remember as a dumb kid walking on rocks like that, if you weren't careful, the barnacles would do a number on your feet.
